Vizuális homofília és forráshitelesség az eWOM-kommunikációban: az arcforma szerepe hedonikus termékek értékelésénél

A TANULMÁNY CÉLJA
A tanulmány az elektronikus szájhagyomány (eWOM) befolyásoló mechanizmusait vizsgálja, fókuszban a kategorikus vizuális homofília (arcforma-hasonlóság) hatásával hedonikus termékek kontextusában izolált ingerbemutatás esetén. A kutatás egy kevésbé vizsgált területet, az arcforma alapú forrásbefogadó hasonlóság implicit meggyőzési hatásait és a forrásattributív folyamatok érvényesülését célozza meg.
ALKALMAZOTT MÓDSZERTAN
Az online kísérleti elrendezésben 202 résztvevő 10–10, perifériás feldolgozást támogató ingeranyagot (szélsőségesen pozitív vélemény, profilkép és kontextuális kép) értékelt. A profilképek öt különböző arcformát bemutató, nemek szerint illesztett átlagarcot ábrázoltak. Az ingereket egymástól szeparálva mutattuk be a homofília-hatás izolált mérése érdekében. A forrás megbízhatóságát, az üzenet elfogadását és a választási szándékot 7 fokú Likert-skálákon mértük. A válaszadók saját arcformájukat a vizsgálat végén azonosították az előfeszítés minimalizálása érdekében. Háttérváltozóként demográfiai adatokra, a tartós termékérintettségre és a szituatív üzenetbevonódásra kérdeztünk rá.
LEGFONTOSABB EREDMÉNYEK
A hipotézisvizsgálatok nem igazolták a vizuális homofília közvetlen hatását a függő változókra, még a prediktor változók statisztikai kontrollját követően sem. A módszertani összehasonlítás során az eredmények arra utalnak, hogy az izolált forrásmegjelenítés – szemben az összehasonlító helyzeteket teremtő eljárásokkal – nem aktiválta jelentősen a homofília alapú bizalmi mechanizmusokat, és a homofília-hatást egy dominánsabb perifériás inger elnyomhatja.
GYAKORLATI JAVASLATOK
Eredményeink arra utalnak, hogy az ingerbemutatás módja (szeparált vs. összehasonlító) moderátorként alakíthatja az online térben formálódó bizalmi ítéleteket, ami jelentős elméleti hozzájárulást kínál a forrásattribúciós modellek továbbfejlesztéséhez. Gyakorlati szempontból a kutatás az egyedi véleménybemutatást használó digitális felületek (pl. mobilnézet, kiemelt vélemények) tervezésénél hangsúlyos. Mivel a határfeltétel közvetlen igazolása további vizsgálatokat igényel, a jövőbeli kutatások számára ezen prezentációs módok szisztematikus összevetése, valamint több termékkategória vizsgálata javasolt.
