Ergonomics of computer workplaces

Abstract

Effectiveness of computer work is important from both healthcare and work-organization point of view but it is often neglected. In this paper 1 summarize the results of the first stage of an empiric research on office ergonomics. Work table, chair, gadgets has impact on beyond our comfort on the effectiveness of the activities. My objective is exploring the influence factors and effects by using the concept of ergonomics. The results point out that subjective side of the problem shall be expected. The individual opinions may be not harmonized with the scientific recommendations.
