Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a term we hear more and more often in our everyday lives. In most cases, the first thing that comes to mind is technological and engineering developments, but if we look more closely at the subject, we find that the term means much more than that.

In Europe, there is a general tendency for governments to be increasingly open to the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence. In this paper, I will examine the major milestones in the European Union's strategies and regulatory documents on AI.
