Community of PhD students for supporting graduation

Abstract

The main aim of the study is to discuss how, along with off-line students’ communities, a virtual community of PhD students, currently in its implementation phase, could help the students of the Doctoral Schools of Regional Science communicate and cooperate, and thus facilitate their success in earning a doctorate. The research includes learning about the cooperation of students’ communities and detailing the cooperative possibilities of the virtual space. The requirements of creating a virtual community of PhD students is identified in the study, the results of which will be applied in practice at the initiative of the PhD School of Regional Science at the University of Pécs’s Faculty of Business and Economics.
