Net Generation and the Science

Abstract

The interests of younger generations diverge from previous generations, which is primarily due to the fact that they have been exposed to more stimuli since birth, with frequent and safe usage of technological tools and the internet. The only question is whether this exposure is pointing toward a scientific interest. If the answer is yes, the next question is whether this interest in any academic area is permanent or not. We were looking for the answers of these questions among others in the research project called „Science Communication to the Net Generation”.
