Acta Sociologica – Pécsi Szociológiai Szemle
Az Acta Sociologica Pécsi Szociológiai Szemle alapítója a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Bölcsészet- és Társadalomtudományi Karának Szociológia Tanszéke. A folyóirat 2005- októberében jelent meg először és éveken át papíralapú kiadásáról a 4D Társadalomtudományi Egyesület gondoskodott. Célunk az volt, hogy fórumot biztosítsunk a Dél-Dunántúli Régióban megvalósuló társadalomtudományi kutatások eredményeit publikálni szándékozó oktatók, doktoranduszok és az egyetemen kívüli kutatók számára.

Az Annona Nova a Kerényi Károly Szakkollégium éves periodikája. A szakkollégium tagjainak nyújt lehetőséget tanulmányok, recenziók és fordítások publikálására, ezzel egyszersmind csokorba gyűjti és bemutatja a szakkollégiumban zajló hallgatói tudományos munka eredményeit.

Hungarian Journal of African Studies / Afrika Tanulmányok
Since its launch in 2007, the Hungarian Journal of African Studies [Afrika Tanulmányok] has been published minimum three times annually as an interdisciplinary scientific outlet for African Studies. Every year since 2018, fully English-language issues with quality scientific papers and field reports have been added to the English-abstracted Hungarian-language volumes. The journal focuses on intriguing topics about the past and present of African societies, as well as looks at the place and possible roles of African actors in the changing international system of the 21st century. From 2021 on, the renewed HJAS intends to become one of the acclaimed journals edited from East-Central Europe, published at least twice in Hungarian, and once in English.

Autonomy and Responsibility Journal of Educational Sciences
Autonomy and Responsibility is an educational research journal that has been in publication since 2015. The main objective of the journal is to present horizontal principles and methodologies that are essential for researchers at the Institute of Educational Sciences and the teacher training program at the University of Pécs. The journal also contributes to international educational discourse. Our mission is to connect our local scholarly community with relevant international discourse to explicitly promote, generate and initiate dialogue. Thus we would like our journal to feature research from universities and communities in other countries along with research from the University of Pecs in Hungary.

Díké - Journal of Dezső Márkus Research Group for Comparative Legal History
The electronic journal of the Dezső Márkus Comparative Legal History Research Group, Δίκη - Díké, is primarily, but not exclusively, intended to provide a publication forum for comparative research. The primary aim of the editors of the journal is to provide the members of the research group with the opportunity to publish their scientific results and thus to present the research group's activities. They also welcome studies, publications and reviews by researchers, academics, doctoral students and scholars from home and abroad who wish to contribute to the exploration of the common roots and values of European legal culture.

The Studia Iuridica Auctoritate Universitatis Pécs Publicata is a series of the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs, within which an English-language Open Access journal called "Essays of Faculty of Law University of Pécs. Yearbook of [year]" has been regularly published since 2010, which contains scientific publications in all areas of law. Submitted papers may be published following a double-blind peer review process carried out by external experts. The yearbook can currently be found on HeinOnline, one of the largest online journal databases, but the full contents of the volumes can be freely downloaded from this website.

FOCUS: Papers in English Literary and Cultural Studies
FOCUS: Papers in English Literary and Cultural Studies is an academic journal using a double anonymised peer review system, published by the Department of English Literatures and Cultures (University of Pécs, Hungary), intended for an international academic audience. The journal was founded in 1998, and it appeared biannually until 2024, switching to annual publication beginning with the 2024 issue. From 2023, the journal is published in an Open Access form. The journal features articles, essays, interviews and book reviews on various aspects of English-speaking literatures and cultures from all ages. Most of the issues focus on a particular theme or cluster of themes.

Közigazgatási és Infokommunikációs Jogi PhD Tanulmányok (PhD Studies in Administrative and ICT Law)
Welcome to the PhD Studies in Administrative and ICT Law website!
Our journal brings together two important areas of public law research. The interconnection and synergies between public administration and ICT have become dominant, even leading, issues in many fields.
The complex social, legal and economic problems and issues related to these topics, and the scientific analysis of these issues in the light of the accelerated pace of change worldwide, provide new opportunities for experts to interpret these issues and to formulate critical comments and proposals.
The aim of this journal is to provide young researchers in the first half of their academic careers with an opportunity to publish their ideas on these issues.

A Kultúratudományi Szemle (angol címe: Cultural Science Review) a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Kultúratudományi, Pedagógusképző és Vidékfejlesztési Kara gondozásában megjelenő tudományos folyóirat. Modern Geográfia
Modern Geográfia—an academic journal affiliated with the University of Pécs, indexed in the Web of Science, published quarterly, primarily featuring articles in English. The aim of this double-blind, peer-reviewed journal is to provide an international platform with open access to studies across a wide spectrum of scientific fields, thereby facilitating the cross-border development of scholarly discourse. We strongly support the publication of research papers that are based on a complex approach and have a broader geographical focus, making them of interest to an international readership. The journal does not solely focus on Earth sciences and classical geographical topics; it also covers fields related to regional development, regional economics, settlement sociology, international relations, and geopolitics. Its goal is to serve as a comprehensive platform for analysis, where both traditional and innovative approaches to human and physical geography play a significant role.

Pécs Labour Law Papers
A Pécsi Tudományegyetem Állam- és Jogtudományi Karának Munkajogi és Társadalombiztosítási Jogi Tanszéke a 2008. évben indította útjára elméleti folyóiratát "Pécsi Munkajogi Közlemények" címmel. A tudományos folyóirat a hazai és a nemzetközi munkajog, valamint szociális jog alapvető és aktuális intézményeivel foglalkozik. A munkajog dogmatikai alapkérdéseinek tárgyalása mellett, a Közlemények különös figyelmet fordít az Európai Unió munkajogára, valamint a jogéletet egyre erőteljesebben befolyásoló jogalkalmazásra. PNEKAT Working Papers
A PNEKAT Working Papers a PTE Néprajz – Kulturális Antropológia Tanszék 2021-ben alapított online időszaki sorozata, amelyet azzal a céllal indítottunk, hogy új publikációs fórumot biztosítsunk a kulturális antropológia, néprajz és folklorisztika tárgykörében született, jelenkori és történeti kutatások eredményeit bemutató tanulmányok, esettanulmányok, valamint elméleti igényű írások számára angol és magyar (vagy szükség és megállapodás szerint egyéb) nyelven. A sorozat formátuma lehetővé teszi nagy mennyiségű illusztrációs anyag publikálását is.

A Pólusok folyóirat célja a politikatudomány, valamint a nemzetközi tanulmányok területén elért tudományos eredmények közlése, az érintett diszciplínákhoz köthető szakmai fórumok gazdagítása. A Pólusok szerkesztősége mindezek mellett feladatának tekinti, hogy a politológiai és nemzetközi kapcsolatok területéhez kapcsolódó hazai szakmai közélet aktív alakítója legyen, beleértve a szélesebb nyilvánosság elérését is. Pontes is the yearbook/journal of the Institute of History of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Pécs. Pontes is primarily meant to publish the studies of the Institute's members, students (PhD, MA) and researchers in Hungarian, with English abstracts. It also presents current research and projects related to the Institute. The journal includes thematic issues and periodical volumes as well. Pontes is open to the historical research as a whole and welcomes contributions from nation- and worldwide.

A szerkesztőbizottság elsődleges célja, hogy a PTE BTK Történettudományi Intézet munkatársai számára publikációs lehetőséget biztosítson. A Pontes Könyvek sorozatban az általuk írt monográfiák, valamint tanulmányköteteik, illetve az Intézethez köthető egyéb munkák megjelentetését tervezzük.

Sports and Health Science Notebooks
Our publication Sports and Health Sciences is published quarterly. Our first booklet was published in 2017 at the XIV. We timed it for the Sports Science Congress. The subject matter of our journal covers scientific fields that match the training and research profile of the publisher, the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pécs. We publish articles in Hungarian, English, or German that are based on independent research and have not yet been published elsewhere. Our authors can satisfy the needs of a readership of researchers, educators, doctoral students, and students interested in the often overlapping problem areas of sports science and health science, but practitioners, educators, and policy makers can also benefit from our publication. The high professional quality of our publications is ensured by the six institutes of our faculty, the eight research programs of our Doctoral School of Health Sciences, and our outstanding domestic and international scientific connections.

Studia Quinqueecclesiensia - A PTE BTK Kari Tudományos Diákköri Tanács Folyóirata
A Studia Quinqueecclesiensia a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Bölcsészet- és Társadalomtudományi Kar Kari Tudományos Diákköri Tanács (KTDT) 2025-ben létrehozott folyóirata. A SQ célja elsősorban a Karon folyó sokrétű tudományos munka reprezentálása. A tanulmányok elsődleges körét a KTDT által szervezett Bölcsész Akadémia kurzuson elhangzott előadások adják, de a szerkesztőség nyitott a Kar bármely oktatója és kutatója számára, illetve szívesen fogadunk a jövőben írásokat intézményünkön kívülről is a bölcsészet- és társadalomtudományok köréből. A Studia Quinqueecclesiensia magyar nyelven közöl tanulmányokat, kiemelt célunk a magyar mint tudományos nyelv támogatása, tudományos szempontból és az egyetemi oktatást is szem előtt tartva. Mindezek mellett a tudományos disszemináció okán az írások címei és összefoglalói (abstract), illetve a kulcsszavak angolul szerepelnek.Az SQ közvetlen folytatása a korábbi PTE Bölcsész Akadémia Tanulmányok a bölcsészet- és társadalomtudományok köréből című kötetsorozatunknak.Pécsi Tudományegyetem Bölcsészet- és Társadalomtudományi Karán immáron több mint tíz éves múltra tekint vissza a Bölcsész Akadémia előadássorozat. A programsorozaton minden egyetemi polgár részt vehet, az egyetem falain túliak számára is nyitott a rendezvény, továbbá egyetemi kurzusként is minden évben meghirdetésre kerül. A pécsi Bölcsész Akadémia nem titkolt hivatása, hogy megmutassa az egyetemi polgárok és a széles közönségnek, hogy miben rejlik a bölcsészettudomány szépsége és öröme, és nem utolsóban társadalmi haszna. Az egyetemi előadássorozaton a felkért előadók, karunk oktatói kutatási eredményeikről, kedvenc témáikról beszélnek. Bemutatják az őket különösen foglalkoztató kérdéseket, és megoszthatják saját olvasataikat, megformált véleményüket az érdeklődőkkel. Az előadások széles merítésben, számos tudományterületet és oktatót próbált reflektorfénybe állítani.Az első folyóiratszám 2024/2025-os őszi és tavaszi félévek BA előadásainak tanulmánnyá szerkesztett változatait adja közre. -
Social Review
Social Review provides a forum for social professionals and academics to share their latest advances in knowledge and practice in the field of social work. Articles accepted for publication are:
- empirical studies especially those regarding social programme evaluation and other areas of applied social research;
- theoretical and methodological developments in social work;
- reflections on social work practice;
- interviews and literature reviews.

Tourism and Rural Development Studies
Founded in 2016, Tourism and Rural Development Studies is a quarterly scientific journal whose main objective is to be a major forum for the publication of the latest research in the field of tourism, hospitality and rural development in Hungary, and an important domestic base for the publication of the latest findings. The journal is also open to the publication of relevant works from other related sub-disciplines and related sciences (marketing, sociology, spatial development, urban sciences). Studies were published in print from 2019 until issue 2023/1, but subsequent issues will be available only in electronic form. TVT publishes mainly studies and publications, but we also consider it important to publish book reviews, short research summaries and special issues in addition to the regular issues. The language of the journal is primarily Hungarian, but we also aim to strengthen the publication of articles in English.

Verso – Irodalomtörténeti folyóirat
A Verso folyóirat a középkori, a kora újkori, valamint a 18. és 19. századi irodalom- és művelődéstörténet területéről vár tanulmányokat, recenziókat, szakmai kérdéseket érintő esszéket, műelemzéseket, fordításokat és szövegközléseket. A folyóirat öt főrovatból áll. A Tudományos Gyűjtemény szaktanulmányoknak ad helyet, alrovatában, a Társalkodóban egymással párbeszédet folytató tanulmányok szerepelnek, amelyek műhelymunka eredményei. A Kritikai Lapok szakkötetekről írott recenziókat tartalmaz, a Fillértárban szövegközlések vagy fordítások jelennek meg. A Hasznos Mulatságok rovat olyan elemzéseket és esszéket közöl, amelyek a középiskolai oktatás szereplőinek érdeklődésére is számot tarthatnak. A folyóirat által kiadott könyvek a Verso honlapján elérhetőek.
