Abstract

Africa – especially the sub-Saharan region – has been the world’s largest repository of negative sensations since the apparent failure of decolonization and state-building, for nearly four decades now. From natural disasters to various security challenges, almost every archaic and modern threat can be found on the continent, which, through the pulse of globalization, could pose a threat not only to the stability of the region but even to the stability of the entire world in the coming decades.
