Abstract

The epochal shifts in the global economy offer new opportunities for Hungarian agribusiness players. Domestic resources, knowledge, and experience can ensure for a few more years that, with a strong government will, the concentration of support sources, and close cooperation between different ministries, we will exploit the potential of increasing world food prices, expanding the food markets of countries outside the Euro-Atlantic region, and implementing agri-food, rural development and environmental protection projects.
