Violation of Humanitarian Law and Infringement of Human Rights in the Last “Colony” of Africa

Abstract

On the surface, Western Sahara is one of the most unconcerned regions of Africa, but who is interested in international law, easily can find many exciting issues in the depths. After a brief historical review, the author intends to examine the abuse of human rights, the infringement of international humanitarian law, which were committed by the parties during the fight for freedom of the Saharawi people. The study also analyses the circumstances of refugees.
