Hungarian architects played a significant role in urban development in East Africa, having a huge impact on urban planning and infrastructural improvements. They contributed to the development of community life and made basic services more accessible. This study explores the lives and work of several renowned Hungarian architects who contributed to the modernisation of African cities, the development of East African architecture, and the growth of tourism in the region. Their influence on East African architecture remains significant to this day.
