With their active participation and expeditions, Hungarians have made numerous significant contributions to the exploration and understanding of East Africa. The article provides a detailed account of the Hungarian individuals who made important and valuable contributions to the discovery and knowledge of East Africa from a historical perspective, across various fields. It highlights explorers and researchers such as Flóra Sass, Sámuel Teleki, and Lajos Höhnel, from famous hunters to doctors like Kálmán Mészáros.
