Abstract

Kembe Sorel has many faces, but they are all inquisitive, cheerful, and talkative. He is the one who is often said to live on the back of the ice. He has been involved in sports since childhood, is an Olympic fencer, hosts radio and TV shows, organizes programs, is “civilized”, and is an active member of the African community in Budapest. Many reports and interviews have been made with/about him, so we greet him almost as an acquaintance on the terrace of the downtown café. The meeting has a special occasion, as his autobiographical book Gulyásleves Négercsókkal has recently been published, and he is also a regular character in the TV2 series Jóban Rosszban.
