Ildikó Túróczi's report on her experiences as a freelance doctor in a remote kingdom in Cameroon. From the field report, we learn about the health and cultural challenges faced by professionals attempting to provide high-quality medical care in an isolated area with weak infrastructure, as they strive to help the local population with issues ranging from AIDS to malaria. The report highlights the challenges and opportunities of medical practice in Africa.
