Abstract
We are closing the tenth volume of our journal with this winter issue, which is in fact the 35th print product of the Hungarian Journal of African Studies, as we have been publishing it since 2007. Following some relaxing days at the end of the year we intend to continue with the 11th volume, and at this point we wish to thank all our supporters, contributors and partners for their collaboration so far!
Our last issue of the year starts off with Krisztián Bene’s article on the Free French Forces’ fights from Senegal to Eritrea. The next piece is presented about the African sleeping sickness by medical doctor Ildikó Turóczi. János Besenyő follows her with a detailed analysis of the three major routes of African migrations across the African continent. György Konkoly-Thege offers some interesting photos again – this time about Morocco. In our review section, András Gergely A. delivers a critical overview of the founder and executive editor of our journal, István Tarrósy’s new book. With these readings we wish all our readers memorable African moments and at the same time Merry Christmas!
In the name of our authors, reviewers and editors let me wish you also a Happy New Year!
