A MOTORKERÉKPÁROS TURIZMUS ELMÉLETI ALAPJAI

Abstract

One of the highlighted aspects of the research of the complex relationship between tourism and transport is
the survey of the role and importance of the certain modes of transport in tourism. Motorcycle tourism,
already being popular in the western countries, becomes more and more attractive and popular in Hungary
as well but its scientific research is lacking in the domestic literature. Additionally the international literature
is also in its initial phase with limited number of contributions. Based on the upper mentioned ideas the
present paper intends to determine the theoretical basis for motorcycle tourism.
