Vol. 4 (2021): From Zakarpatska to Britain. Studies in Medieval and Early Modern History

The fourth issue of Pontes published in 2021 focuses on the Middle Ages and the Early Modern period, as the title of the volume suggests, with studies taking the reader from thirteenth century Zakarpatska to seventeenth and eighteenth-century Britain. The current issue thus covers a broad spectrum, both chronologically and thematically, and its primary aim is to present the diversity of research at the Department of Medieval and Early Modern History at the University of Pécs. The volume also includes Hungarian translations of important papers by two Western European historians, Claudia Zey and Pierre Jugie, as well as additional studies of Hungarian researchers.
