The studies in this thematic issue present collections related to education, explore their history, analyse their use in education and knowledge dissemination, and discuss their current function. Topics include collections used in university education, educational pavilions at world exhibitions, collections of certain museums as extracurricular learning venues, best practices in archival pedagogy, and the history of Hungarian schools in Eszék during the dualist era.
