Abstract

Following decolonization, the subordination-superiority relationship that previously characterized European-African relations has changed into a partnership involving different segments. In the study, we can trace the development and deepening of this cooperation from the end of World War II to the present day. We can read in detail about the main aspects of the Yaoundé and Lomé Conventions, as well as the partnership system of the Cotonou Agreement concluded in 2000. The author examines with special emphasis the most important aspects of the security policy cooperation that has developed between European and African integration.
