Medicine more dangerous than the disease?

Abstract

Year after year Lariam pills are taken against malaria as the most popular medicine. However, nowadays more and more studies are released which claim that it has serious side affects like depression, paranoia, hallucination and becoming apt to commit suicide. We can ask whether malaria or its treatment is more dangerous. From the article we can learn about the characteristics of the disease, some tragic consequences, the story of the evolution and application of remedies and their more and more proven harmful side effects.
