Abstract

"It was morning. We were sitting in the yard eating breakfast when the LRA attacked our village. Everyone was dragged out of the house, the women and men were lined up separately. There were seven of us in the family: my little brother, who was only eight months old, my three older brothers, Mom, Dad and me. The men and boys were beaten to death with batons and pangas right in front of us. I will never, ever forget it! We were forced to watch as our male family members were killed."
