Abstract

African Studies has reached a new stage in presenting famous figures from the black continent. In this article, the dear reader can learn about some artists who, due to their significant artistic and architectural activities, cannot be missing from the list of famous Africans. In addition to the celebrities to be presented, we will also highlight the characteristics of Makonde woodcarving and the Tingatinga painting movement.
