Abstract

Children who have “eaten” their father, brother, grandmother are on their knees in front of the prophet to get rid of their witchcraft. Bare foot youngsters dressed up in shreds who are trying to survive in flocks on the streets of Kinshasa. Teenage girls who are selling their bodies for the price of a few bottles of Coke. Six- to twelveyear- old children are working in stone mines, breaking stones under the hot sun for a pittance. Stocky young boys whose best friend was an AK 47 machine gun recently. Child witches, street kids, child prostitutes, child workers and child soldiers…
