Julia Fabényi's short article provides an extremely interesting insight into Ghanaian burial customs that are unimaginable, strange and smile-inducing for Europeans. The oversized coffins, cars, animals, and everyday objects bearing elements of pop art carry both the necessary stylizations of a sculpture and the conditions of a functional object (coffin).
