A Migrant Football Team in Hungary

Abstract

I spoke with Victor Nelson, a member of the Inter'AFC football team. Inter'AFC is a mixed team: Hungarians and immigrants. They play in the B-1 group of the Budapest Football Association. We talked to Victor about football, the African-Hungarian Association, life in Hungary, and the situation of immigrants. Victor was born in Nigeria, has lived in Hungary for 10 years, and has been playing for the team since 2006. He lives with his Hungarian wife and 5-month-old daughter, and works as a hairdresser.
