Abstract

Dr. Valéria Kutnyányszky spent a month in Kiwanja, Democratic Republic of Congo, in the fall of 2009. The homoeopathic doctor from Bükkösd, as a member of the 4th Voluntary Medical Mission organized by the African-Hungarian Association (AHU), helped the needy in the war-torn area with two female doctors. In interviews, she speaks honestly about her experiences on the Congolese medical mission and the horrors she experienced in the Kiwanja refugee camp.
