Abstract

Culture plays a key role in everyday life as well as in tourism, as its consumption has a positive
impact on the individuals’ quality of life and indirectly on the economic situation of regions and
countries. Therefore, the area has been the subject of numerous studies, and several researches have
reported on the cultural consumption of the Hungarian population and the tendencies in connection
with it.
Similarly, the aim of the current research is to introduce the cultural interest of students who are
studying tourism in Hungarian higher education institutions and to introduce the cultural promotion
tools used by the higher education institutions.
