Since the 1970's the globalization started to affect the touristical trends because the appreciation of localitis are growing side by side with the need of uniqe destinations and the discovery of the local cultures. It can appear in many form such as hungaricums. In our research we studied publications and made an online interview survey among the Y and Z generation. As most local values are momentarily less known among people of generation Y and Z, they do not significantly shape image; views regarding the role of local products in identity conservation, and regarding their wide-spreading are controversial.
