Abstract

The phenomenon of an increasingly aging society poses challenges in the field of social services, including homeless care. Among older adults, in addition to the importance of addressing physical care needs, assessing mental health is also of particular significance. This paper presents the results of a pilot study that compares the scores of homeless individuals over the age of 65 on the 30-item Geriatric Depression Scale (Long Form) (GDS) with their scores on the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS-H).
