Abstract

My study raises questions regarding specific relation between social work and ethics. By assimilation and interpretation of the relating topical literature in German I explore in what respect can social work be regarded as ethical science or profession. My two important assertions: 1. the ethics of social work can be considered as a separate field of applied ethics; 2. the social work-ethics
can on the other hand be modelled with the help of hermeneutic approach.
