Abstract

Authors explore three therapeutic communities using an initial questionnaire for independent evaluation by Social and Health Evaluation Unit, adapted for the context, to determine basic directions of independent evaluation. The questionnaire is complemented by Survey of Essential Elements Questionnaire (SEEQ), which focuses on key features of therapeutic communities. Respondents have highlighted professional autonomy and conceived recovery as a change in clients’ value system and attitudes.
