In my study, I examine a special and rarely researched social aspect of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Primarily, in relation to adult ASD, only a few studies deal with criminal behaviour and the problems of persons with ASD in the criminal justice system, their special situation and needs. Within the study, I highlight the special role and competence of social work, as well as the responsibility of law enforcement agencies.
