Abstract

In our study we present two applications, which were primarily designed for children and youth touched with child welfare services and the child protection system in Hungary. The YounGo app aims to prepare youth for independent life, while the Asszerteen promotes assertive communication for teenagers. Development and design of both applications was preceded by research among youth and professionals working with them. The needs and opinions expressed are also relevant for the developers not just in the development phase, but in the implementation, and then in the testing phase.
