Autonomy and Responsibility Journal of Educational Sciences

The journal aims to provide dialogue for researchers, developers, and educators working in practice across five scientific horizons. These horizontal themes include the following:

  • autonomous and responsible participation and capacity to act
  • dialogue and cooperation
  • valuing diversity
  • the development of a multi-perspective vision
  • an inclusive pedagogical and educational environment

In this call for papers, our journal is accepting submissions on all horizons above.

Our journal functions as a program journal, initiating and sustaining international discourse in key areas. In the past three issues, we have highlighted educational inclusion (especially in higher education), cooperative learning, and multiperspectivity, to showcase the horizons where we feel concentrated dialogue in international educational science discourse is most crucial.

Starting this year, we would like to keep all horizons open to provide a platform for pioneering, popular, emerging, and young authors alike. Our goal remains to create a forum that facilitates dialogue between published studies and their authors.

We do not simply wish to maintain another educational science journal, but to foster a vibrant forum. A kind of program journal that does not let go of the areas we consider highly important, but continuously ensures dialogue and publication for approaches and practices proven by scientific results. Therefore, we look forward to submissions from authors who are willing to contribute their studies to maintaining such a forum.

We welcome articles from various genres in the field of educational science. These may range from comparative historical educational studies to writings that compare educational systems and practices. We accept case studies, action research, as well as experimental and methodological research, or theoretical papers. Beyond the mentioned research horizons, we also encourage the presentation of new aspects that align with the Aims & Scope of the journal, as outlined in the description above.
