Abstract

The year 2011 began with processes that brought about fundamental changes in North Africa. Since the events in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya, countless analyses have been produced that attempt to more or less predict what the countries of the Mediterranean region will look like after the revolutionary wave called the “Arab Spring.”
