The Structure of the Nigerian Electoral System

Abstract

Due to the upcoming elections in Nigeria, not just Africa’s, but also the world’s attention turns to Abuja. The voting on February 14, 2015, is going to be of outstanding significance in many ways. A lot depends on the clear and well-organized elections in a country, where terrorism and religious discrepancy are permanent problems. Therefore, the study presents the structure of the electoral system in Nigeria and the challenges citizens face during the preperations.
