The wine and gastronomy based tourism is an important type of product in today’s tourism, so that the
related festivals and events become more and more popular. The events related to the culture and traditions
of the different nations in Hungary constitute a unique group in this very diverse palette. The revived culture
and thus the revival of traditions could indirectly contribute to the subsistence of these little communities. In
the tourism supply of the multicultural Southern Transdanubia the traditions of the Germans and Croats play
an important role, thus, the authors would like to analyse the most important ones in this study.
