Abstract

One of the main goals of the Old-Drava Programme is to solve the social and economic crisis states of local communities, including those of the Roma. The Ormánság by the River Drava is one of the least developed and most segregated areas with a high ratio of Roma inhabitants. Social inclusion and re/integration of the Roma depend on four factors: employability, trainings, improving living conditions and access to services – in addition to their active participation and to the inclusion of their economic and social environment.
