Abstract

The University Collection of the University of Szeged is presented by two associates of the Klebelsberg Library. After introducing the main activity, the scope and the database of the collection, two inherited property is discussed which have a particularly significant aspect in terms of university history. Historian Sándor Márki is considered the founder of the university history research of the University of Szeged, and contributed to the creation of the collection with numerous diverse activities and documents. Albert Szent-Györgyi Nobel winning scientist of Szeged, has a legacy of unique value to both the University of Szeged and confirming the city’s scientific reputation.
