Abstract

Seven Hungarian researchers within the framework of the Hungarian Scientific Rainforest Expedition travelled to Cameroon, the country which unites the western and central parts of the African continent. During their five-month-long stay they analyzed the people, animals and plants of the extremely colourful land. The author, as the scientific leader of the group, in his exciting narrative invites us to an exploring trip on the “top” of West-Africa, into the Cameroon-Mountains. While reading the detailed description we can see the breathtaking sight of the misty peak, enjoy the concert of birds, feel the cool breeze of nights and the hot breath of the daytime, and also, we can live through the success of discovering new species.
