Abstract

I received the 3rd issue of the 2nd volume of their magazine with great professional interest, which dealt with water problems in Africa. While reading the columns of the newspaper, I decided to tell the readers about a mission, as a kind of travelogue, involving soldiers of the 37th II. Rákóczi Ferenc Technical Battalion, Water Purification Company of the Hungarian Defence Forces, and the location was Africa, an archipelago that was little known to Hungarians: the Cape Verde Islands (Cabo Verde).
