Africa in the autumn of Pécs

2021-09-10

Following last year's unfortunate break due to the pandemic, the sixth Pécs African Studies academic conference will be held between 23-24 September, this time under the title African Realities: Conflicts and Cooperation.
The two-day conference, jointly organized by the Africa Research Centre of the University of Pécs, the UP International Centre, Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta and the Africa Subcommittee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, is the most important forum for African studies in Hungary.
This year's event will be held at the Knowledge Centre and will feature exciting presentations focusing on current topics in English by a number of experts from Hungary and abroad.
The organizers will be broadcasting the entire program live on PTE1367, the official YouTube channel of the University of Pécs, so that viewers can join and view this fascinating event from anywhere around the world.
The conference is part of the UP International Autumn series of events.
