Like tourism, hospitality is a dynamic sector. Businesses must respond to the economic, technological, environmental and social changes that are taking place today. There is a perception that new consumer habits are emerging to adapt to the lifestyle of the 21st century. The impact of consumer decision-making on hospitality is very significant. Both sides of the process must be considered, the consumer side as well as the supply side. Today, with the emergence of crises, it is becoming increasingly important for producers and retailers to have some form of customer loyalty and to attract customers. In order to do this, some kind of additional factor is needed to build customer loyalty alongside the brand. However, the consumer's choice is determined not only by the individual's role in the group, but also by the set of intrinsic characteristics that shape the consumer's tastes and attitudes. Identifying the factors that influence consumption will enable the development of an appropriate marketing communication strategy for the sector's operators and service providers.
