Copyright and licensing
Per Aspera ad Astra is open access, meaning that its publications are available on the Internet free of charge to anyone. Articles published in the journal are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
The authors of the journal do not pay and do not receive any kind of remuneration for the publication of their articles.
As an online journal, Per Aspera ad Astra adheres to the Creative Commons principles of copyright protection and digital commons of intellectual property. All articles published in the journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution! - ShareAlike 4.0 International licence.
Papers published in the journal may be freely copied, distributed and displayed under the following conditions:
- Use the author's name and the place of original publication (Per Aspera ad Astra, year, issue, page number).
- The work is not for commercial use.
- The paper may not be modified or adapted, and no derivative work may be created from it.
- Any distribution must include the above licence terms.
The above conditions may only be waived with the written permission of the author and the responsible publisher of the journal.
Authors of articles published in the journal retain the right to republish their articles elsewhere after publication in Per Aspera ad Astra. They are free to download and print the electronic version of the published article and to make it available on other electronic platforms without modification.
Our journal follows RoMEO "green" archiving policy: it can be archived as a preprint (manuscript before peer review) and as a postprint (final, peer reviewed manuscript) or as a publisher's version/PDF.
Journal issues are also available in the Repository of the Library and Information Centre, Hungarian Academy of Sciences (REAL-J).
