Abstract

The Faculty of Arts at Comenius University in Bratislava has been offering Hungarian studies in various forms of
education for over a hundred years. The study presents the diverse domains for teaching Hungarian as a foreign
language there and explores the difficulties native speakers of Slovak have in understanding the grammatical
system of Hungarian.
