Abstract

This paper presents a new professionalisation model for the tourism industry. The model is rooted in classical tourism ecosystem frameworks, but in addition to tourism industry actors, it introduces connective elements and artefacts that can drive the direction of market change and thus determine the market's professionalisation potential and opportunities.
