Abstract

Outstanding values of our cultural heritage may include castles that use to this day still leaves much to be
desired. Although in recent decades have been made forward-looking developments, there is still much to be
done in the field of sustainable utilization of the buildings. In our study, using a systematic collection of
data, their graphical display and the available data organizing wishes to explore the castles, which are used
wholly or partly for some tourism purposes (hotel, museum, or other). We examined the quality of the
services provided, the price level, as well as an exhibition of the recovery, especially their spatial
characteristics for the accommodations. Finally, situation analysis is carried out within the framework of
SWOT analysis based on the literature and research results.
