Within the framework of our questionnaire survey entitled Corporate assessment of the competitiveness of Hungarian settlements, a thousand entrepreneurs and company managers answered our questions. In our questionnaire, we sought answers to, among other things, what factors are preferred by the actors of the Hungarian corporate sphere when choosing their business location, which can be linked to the cities as a characteristic feature of the favorable economic structure, as well as the effective local settlement policy. It can be stated that Hungarian businesses have become more cost-sensitive in the ten years covered by our research, and the availability of a skilled and efficient workforce has become even more important than before. Coupled with these changes was the increased significance of the activity in settlement policy, which is a phenomenon that can be observed in companies of different sizes.Downloads
