What kind of means do we need to attain universal liberation, and how should we apply them? What shall our strategy be? This text answers these questions by an offer based on Antonio Gramsci’s theory of counterhegemony adapting it to the context of our contemporary system of political and cultural institutions in Hungary, taking into consideration the historical evolution of the present situation and completing Gramsci’s framework with an important note on joyful militancy, the guidelines of carla bergman and Nick Montgomery for organising the life of communities in political struggle for social change.
