About the Journal

The editorial board of the journal Knowledge Management offers publication opportunities in the field of humanities and social sciences in the following topics:

The journal Knowledge Management is published twice a year in Hungarian. From 2022, the journal will publish a special issue in a foreign language once a year (in English/German). The topic of the special issue in foreign languages will be published by the editorial board in the form of a separate call on the journal's website.

Formal requirements and other information:

We ask our authors to prepare their studies in a minimum of 25,000 and a maximum of 40,000 characters based on the template downloadable from the http://btk.pte.hu/hu/hfmi/tudasmenedzsment website.

The journal also provides an opportunity to publish reviews. The length of the review is a minimum of 6000 and a maximum of 8000 characters. 

The character count is understood without spaces.

In connection with the studies to be published in the traditional issues of the journal, we expect our authors to submit abstracts in Hungarian and English based on the given template. The length of the abstract in Hungarian and English: minimum 1200 characters, maximum 1500 characters (without spaces).

We kindly ask our authors to send us their short introductions in Hungarian and English at the same time as their writings. (Name, scientific degree, job title, institution, outline list of research field(s), e-mail address)

Only first publications can be published in the journal Knowledge Management. 

The journal publishes a maximum of two articles by one author in a given issue.

Publication in the journal is free of charge.  

Judging process:

The journal Knowledge Management publishes articles after double-blind peer-review. An external reviewer is optionally requested by the journal, and the revision of the submitted articles is primarily carried out within the editorial board. In all cases, the articles are reviewed by experts who are well versed in the given field.

The peer review process takes one month. The editorial board sends the evaluations electronically to the author without indicating the names of the reviewers (in the case of several authors, only to the first author).

The submitted articles will be published in the journal in the event of two positive reviews, after the authorial modifications deemed necessary by the editorial board. In the case of a negative and a positive review, the editorial board decides on the publication of the article and the necessary modifications. In the case of two negative reviews, the journal will reject the publication of the publication.

By submitting the publication to the address of the editorial board, the author consents to the publication of the article by the editorial board on the Knowledge Management website of the PTE BTK HFMI, in the OJS system, and on other professional and scientific websites (e.g. MTMT).
