Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.-
1. The submitted material has not been previously published or peer-reviewed in another journal.
- 2. The submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, document file format.
- 3. Citation and references are provided in APA style.
- 4. Text is set in Times New Roman font, single-spaced, 12-point font size; all illustrations, figures, and tables are numbered, titled, and referenced.
- 5. The text follows the stylistic and bibliographic requirements as outlined in the Author's Guidelines.
Copyright Notice
Pólusok/Polarities allow authors to retain the copyright of their papers without restrictions. Nevertheless, authors grant the journal and the publisher the right of first publication, and other non-exclusive publishing rights on the basis of the provisions of Hungarian Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright (hereinafter referred to as "the Act").
The right of use granted by the author to the journal and to the publisher covers all types of use as defined in the Act, in particular:
- the right of first publication of the work created by the author;
- the first right to reproduce the work in any number of copies;
- reproduction on any analogue or electronic medium for any number of times;
- distribution;
- the authorization of a right of use by a third party;
- communication to the public.
The author also grants the journal and the publisher the rights of use set out above without territorial limitation, free of charge or for an indefinite period.
Additionally, when submitting manuscripts, the author certifies that
- the manuscript submitted for publication is original and their own work;
- it has not been published or submitted elsewhere;
- they waive any remuneration for authorship arising from copyright;
- they are in possession of the rights to be transferred;
- and assume responsibility on behalf of all co-creators for the legality of the assignment of copyright.
Pólusok/Polarities is an open access journal, published in electronic form and accessible to the public through its website. The author undertakes to publish his/her work on his/her own website and on other scientific repositories only after the official publication of the manuscript, indicating the bibliographic data and the web link (URL) of the original publication.
The author grants permission to the journal to grant third parties the right to use the work free of charge, for the purpose of, for example, placing the work in a repository, publishing or promoting it. The third parties are entitled to determine their own rules of use when granting a license for further use of the work.
The journal and the publisher reserve the right to make changes to the work without affecting its content. The final paper resulting from these changes may only be published with the consent of the author.
The author declares that no other person has any rights over the work which would limit or exclude the rights of the journal or the publisher. In the case of a multi-author work, this statement shall also apply to the co-authors, and it is the responsibility of the author submitting the work to inform them of the contents of the license.
The name(s) and attribution of the author(s) shall not be changed after the work has been submitted. The author submitting the work declares that the material intended for publication contains only open (non-classified) information and data.
For matters not covered by the license, please refer to the Creative Commons Attribution Policy. 4.0 license terms, which the author accepts together when submitting the manuscript.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
